I recently had a deck replaced/enlarged by Rocky Mountain Catastrophe & Restoration, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire process was professional and stress-free. The quality is top-notch and the finish work is gorgeous. RMCat kept me updated throughout the project, showed up when they said they would and left the grounds and driveway spotless when they finished. I love the new deck and get compliments from everyone who has been sharing my new outdoor space. I didn't know RMCat did projects like this, but am glad they were recommended. Call them is you're thinking about replacing or building a deck. You'll be glad you did!

We had a great experience working with Jacob and Silvo at Rocky Mountain Catastrophe during a very stressful time. From the moment they arrived, they responded quickly, communicated clearly, and kept us informed throughout every step of the mitigation process. They took the time to explain what was happening, what to expect next, and answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism.

My wife and I finally landed our dream property in Grand Lake about 8 years ago. We are not your typical 2nd home owners, with piles of money to throw at problems. We short-term rent the place to break even. When we heard from our HOA president that there was water in the crawlspace coming from our unit, a bit of panic set in. The first time we had heard of Rocky Mountain. Catastrophe and Restoration was when our HOA president had them do dry rot mitigation and crawlspace fortification under our 4-unit condo building. We could not believe the scope of work they undertook on that project. At that point, we were at our place dealing with a shower leak. We had the opportunity to chat with, and get to know the contractors that worked on that job. hey were great guys, and it was quite obvious they really know what they were doing. So when our latest catastrophe hit, we knew exactly who to call. Colten and his team came out and immediately assessed the situation, found the leaking pipe in the wall between the kitchen and bathroom, shut the water off, and began the extensive job of water damage and mold remediation. Quick, professional and personable service. Since that point, we have dealt with Alison, a couple of Jonnies, and Joanna (forgive me if I forgot anyone). Everyone is off-the-charts helpful and professional. our (S)uper (F)un home insurance has denied our claim (look for my google review of them later), and the Catastrophe crew is going as far as to help us get our appeal filed with the proper paperwork to get the denial reversed. This requires the writing of several letters and reports, and they even referred us to a public adjustor to refute the denial. Short story long, if you suffer a catastrophe at your mountain property, you simply will not find a more qualified crew to help you deal with it. At this juncture, I am specifically reviewing the mitigation team, and the helpful office staff. We intend to use RMCAT for the restoration as well. I will review the restoration team when that work is complete. I fully expect it will be equally as glowing a review as this. Chris and Kristi Douglass, actual customers.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an excellent experience with Rocky Mountain Catastrophe during a water mitigation crisis at our church. They were on site within an hour of our call and stayed until 9:00 that night, working incredibly hard to get the situation under control. Jacob was the lead on our project, and he was exceptional. He kept us informed throughout the process, clearly explained what was happening and what needed to be done, and was always responsive to our questions. His communication was honestly some of the best I have experienced with any company. Silvo was also part of the team and worked incredibly hard. The professionalism, attention to detail, and quality of work from the entire crew were outstanding. During an already stressful and overwhelming situation, having a team that was dependable, knowledgeable, hardworking, and easy to communicate with made an enormous difference. They didn't just show up quickly—they stayed, worked hard, and made sure the job was done right. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Catastrophe to anyone dealing with water damage or an unexpected property emergency. We are extremely grateful for Jacob, Silvo, and the entire team and for the way they responded when we needed them most. Tina Strang, Pastor

We had a fantastic experience with this company during our flood mitigation and rebuild. They were professional, thorough, on time, and great to work with throughout the entire process. They were especially helpful when dealing with insurance and often seemed to have a better understanding of local requirements than the insurance company itself. Being based in Winter Park, they know Colorado building codes and local regulations inside and out, which gave us a lot of confidence in the work being done. They made a stressful situation much easier to navigate, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

When a frozen pipe caused significant water damage in my Winter Park home, Rocky Mountain Catastrophe & Restoration was there quickly and handled the mitigation process professionally from the start. Their team carefully packed and labeled my belongings, protected unaffected areas of my home, and took steps to safeguard my garage and furnishings during the project. The level of care and organization gave me confidence that my home was in good hands. I also chose RMC to manage the restoration work, which proved to be a major advantage. They coordinated all of the necessary trades—including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, and tile—and worked closely with me and my insurance company to ensure the scope of repairs was properly documented and covered. Their experience navigating the insurance process was invaluable and saved me considerable time and stress. The project was not without challenges. A painting subcontractor’s work did not initially meet expectations, which delayed completion and required additional visits from me to verify that everything was corrected. This was frustrating and added unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. What ultimately earned my recommendation, however, was how RMC responded. They listened to my concerns, took responsibility, remained engaged throughout the process, and followed through until the issues were resolved to my satisfaction. Their team was apologetic, professional, and committed to making things right rather than simply moving on to the next job. No restoration project of this size is ever perfect, but what matters is how a company responds when problems arise. Based on my experience, Rocky Mountain Catastrophe & Restoration demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone in need of mitigation services or full restoration work in Grand County.
